Jonathan De Vita: OpenAI Launches Codex, a New AI Coding Agent https://www.newsanyway.com/2025/10/13/jonathan-de-vita-openai-launches-codex-a-new-ai-coding-agent/ Mon, 13 Oct 2025 13:08:42 +0000 https://www.newsanyway.com/?p=141639 Jonathan De Vita is a computer scientist who graduated from Lancaster University, having studied AI and coding as part of his degree. This article will look at Codex, a new AI coding agent from OpenAI that is on course to revolutionise the field of software engineering.

In May 2025, OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, made a big push in one of the most popular AI domains, unveiling a research preview of Codex, a solution developed for one of the most in-demand areas for AI tools.

Built on a model called codex-1, Codex is capable of performing several tasks simultaneously, including fixing bugs, running tests, writing code and answering questions about a customer’s codebase, according to OpenAI. The codex-1 operating model is a version of OpenAI’s 03 reasoning model created for ChatGPT Pro, Enterprise and Team users.

Pledging to double down on coding, an increasingly in-demand area that has seen rising investment from the likes of Google, Amazon, Microsoft and Anthropic, as well as start-ups like Anysphere, OpenAI conceded that while there were a lot of good AI systems out there, Codex will transform the way developers work by enabling them to delegate more tasks. While different models have different strengths in terms of coding, with Sonnet demonstrating some staying power, things are changing so quickly it is too early to declare a winner, a representative for OpenAI suggested.

Since its launch, OpenAI’s GPT-4.1 model has rapidly gained traction, ranking as the best-performing non-reasoning coding platform in comparison tests. Nevertheless, with many of today’s coding tools operating in tandem in real time with developers, Codex presents revolutionary potential, working on its own in the cloud and delivering an output in one to 30 minutes. In addition to helping with code reviews, OpenAI suggests that the tool can do a better job than its market rivals in inferring an organisation’s coding style.

Unveiling Codex, OpenAI vice president of engineering Srinavas Narayanan highlighted the advanced coding tool as a fundamentally new way of working. He explained that OpenAI would be collecting feedback throughout the research preview, paving the way for a gradual introduction of technologies to advance research, mitigate risks and promote user understanding. Although Mr Narayanan conceded that OpenAI was still in the early phase of product development with much to learn, Codex is positioned as having game-changing potential for coders, with the cloud-based software engineering agent capable of working on multiple tasks in parallel. The software can perform tasks such as writing features, fixing bugs and answering questions regarding the codebase, as well as proposing pull requests for review. Each task runs on the platform’s own cloud sandbox environment preloaded with the user’s repository.

OpenAI’s codex-1 model has been optimised for software engineering, having been trained using reinforcement learning on real-world tasks in a range of different environments. It generates code that closely mirrors PR preferences and human style, adhering precisely to instructions and iteratively running tests until it receives satisfactory results.

Already available to ChatGPT users, Codex is accessed through the sidebar. The user assigns new coding tasks by simply typing a prompt and clicking ‘Code’. Alternatively, if they wish to ask a question about the codebase, the user clicks ‘Ask’. Each task is processed individually in a separate environment preloaded with the codebase.

Capable of reading and editing files and running commands such as text harnesses, linters and type checkers, Codex typically completes tasks in anywhere between one and 30 minutes, depending on complexity, enabling users to monitor its real-time progress. Once the task is complete, the software saves the changes in its environment, providing verifiable evidence of its actions through citations of test outputs and terminal logs to allow the user to trace each step – from the task’s inception to completion.

Building with Bots: A Guide to Integrating Agentic AI into Your UK Dev Team https://www.newsanyway.com/2025/07/30/building-with-bots-a-guide-to-integrating-agentic-ai-into-your-uk-dev-team/ Wed, 30 Jul 2025 06:00:03 +0000 https://www.newsanyway.com/?p=140680 Building with Bots: A Guide to Integrating Agentic AI into Your UK Dev Team

The role of Artificial intelligence is evolving day by day. Its significance in today’s work environment has emerged from a futuristic idea to a chore aspect of current day software development. The UK’s tech sector has revamped their strategies to suit the evolving market demands.

The implementation of Agentic AI is set to significantly transform software developmental workflow. Traditional AI could assist with tasks via automation as opposed to the newly evolved AI agents that can perform tasks autonomously. Besides, they are flexible enough to adapt to dynamic conditions, act with reasoning capabilities and deal with challenges. Human developers who work alongside these AI agents can reap maximum benefits and reshape the workflow management system.

This blog highlights and helps you analyze the factors, best practices, and challenges of incorporating agentic AI into the developmental processes. We urgently need to realign the developmental workflow and begin building with intelligent bots.

Explaining Agentic AI

Agentic AI is an autonomous entity that has the ability to plan tasks, execute activities, and make decisions as opposed to conventional AI models that could revert to commands given by the user and perform tasks accordingly. Agentic AI, such as OpenAI’s AutoGPT, Microsoft’s AutoGen, etc., has evolved to become co-creators that actively collaborate in undertaking tasks. AI agents undertake roles such as

  • Define and plan goal-oriented tasks.
  • Segregating main tasks into several sub-tasks.
  • Utilize various tools and APIs.
  • Identify its working, monitor functionalities.
  • Actively assist humans in collaborative work.

Implementing agentic AI helps with not just generating code; it can perform high-end tasks such as automating infrastructure, managing bug triage, running tests, documenting, and even planning upcoming development sprints.

Why UK Development Teams Should Take Notice

The UK tech sector being a powerhouse of opportunities due to its governmental support for adopting innovations in AI and a great talent pool firmly striving to cope with the competitive world takes a stand to be at the forefront of innovation. They are geared to incorporate Agentic AI into the developmental workflow due to the following benefits:

  • Faster delivery: Automated bots can handle repetitive and monotonous tasks which allow developers to focus on other tasks involving creativity and decision-making.
  • Round-the-clock support: AI agents can work around the clock managing code reviews, testing performance, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Bridging teams: AI caters to enhancing collaboration between product, design, and engineering aspects by meeting requirements and expectations regarding its development.
  • Cost effectiveness: The initial investment may seem to be heavy but facilitates greater ROI in terms of operational efficiency.

Steps to Integrate Agentic AI into Your Team

  1. Identify Practical Use Cases

The first and foremost step to accommodate agentic AI into your team is by identifying practical use cases and bottlenecks that hamper the performance of your team. Start small and move to greater areas of focus. Agentic AI can help resolve problem areas such as monotonous and repetitive tasks that cause delays, QA testing for developers, etc. They can assist with:

  • Quality assurance and testing via automation.
  • CI/CD pipeline monitoring
  • Documentation management
  • Bug reproduction and ticket analysis
  • Technical debt identification
  • Code refactoring suggestions
  1. Choose An Appropriate Agent Framework

Choosing an appropriate framework that is best suited to the project requirements, and the expertise of your team, is a practical requirement while implementing agentic AI. Bigger enterprises face the requirement of highly scalable and customizable frameworks to suit their needs. Whereas small teams could choose frameworks with less sophisticated features. However, it is best to choose a framework that can easily integrate with your existing tech stack (e.g., GitHub, Slack, Jira, AWS).

Enabling options like:

  • LangChain: Can be useful to build tailored, multi-step AI workflows.
  • AutoGPT/BabyAGI: These are experimental agents that showcase intense planning and goal-driven execution of actions.
  • Microsoft AutoGen: They help in coordinating collaborative multi-agent systems.

Private GPT Agents: These agents help with securing data and safeguarding intellectual property rights by deploying closed-source agents.

  1. No Violation of Data Privacy and Adherence to Compliance Standards

UK organizations must bear in mind GDPR and data residency laws before implementing AI agents for collaborative work. You should be mindful of the following activities i.e:

  • Any data that is used for training or interacting with AI agents should be devoid of any sensitive/personal information.
  • Selection of cloud providers or on-premises solutions based in the EU/UK for maintaining data sovereignty.
  1. Implementing a Bot-Human Collaboration Strategy

Bots are augmenting their efficiency in terms of performance while collaborating with humans. Although they can function as independent, stand-alone entities, their productivity is far greater when they are embedded into a team’s daily routine. Exploring how developers will engage with these agents:

  • Bots within Slack or Microsoft Teams: They respond to technical queries and start builds.
  • AI-powered code reviewers: They review codes and give feedback just like human reviewers.
  • Jira-connected agents: Assists with sorting and prioritizing tickets and tasks.
  • Summarize with AI: Provides summaries of key topics or problem areas across sprints.

Eventually, this integration fosters trust, prevents team members from feeling disconnected, and ensures that AI works to support human efforts rather than replacing them.

  1. Enhancing productivity via constant assessment

AI agents require constant feedback for improvization and delivery of better output. One is to track their interactions, gather input from developers, and regularly adjust prompts or configurations based on real-world use.

One can regularly monitor its performance and even appoint a dedicated “BotOps” owner like a DevOps engineer to oversee, maintain, and continuously evaluate your agents’ performance and skills.

Real-life scenario: Deploying Agentic AI in a London Fintech Startup

A UK-based fintech startup invested in a LangChain-powered agent to accelerate their CI/CD pipeline. The agent played a marked role in automating tasks with a reasonable level of planning, execution, decision-making and task completion in the following ways:

  • Tracking activity on GitHub pulls requests
  • Identification of potential security vulnerabilities based on OWASP guidelines
  • Suggests solutions and updated documentation, and other key findings.
  • Briefing and summarizing the workflow to engineers via Slack.

Implementing a pro-active AI agent facilitated a 30% reduction in deployment lead times in just two months. Moreover, the company could gain insights by identifying risks and taking necessary action in resolving them. In short, the company could speed up the process with less effort and better output by implementing a one-time investment strategy with AI agents. AI-driven software development services in the UK also incorporates AI agents in the developmental stages (SDLC) of projects by collaborating with developers to improve output. Utilizing the necessary tools for task automation, collaborating with humans in the workflow orchestration and adapting to dynamic use-cases and project demands is their forte.

Anticipated Challenges

Incorporating AI agents into the developmental workflows is not free from challenges. The development teams should be wary of the following issues:

  1. Developer skepticism: The advent of AI agents should not be considered a threat, in fact, it is here to assist and collaborate in enhancing workflows. AI agents are evolving not to replace human jobs but to reinforce the quality of work with timely risk detection. With adequate training and support from humans,
  2. Troubleshooting complexity: As AI agents can make autonomous decisions it might seem complex to make out why an agent takes a specified action. Hence, it is best to analyze the performance of AI agents and the errors or hallucinations they are likely to create. Human interference is inevitable to assess its working and maintain detailed logs for better visibility.
  3. Dependency risks: Evaluate the trade-offs between building custom, in-house agents and relying on external APIs to avoid vendor lock-in and maintain long-term flexibility.
  4. Third-party dependency risks: One may have to carefully evaluate the trade-offs between custom-built AI agents which are flexible or availing on external APIs to avoid vendor lock-in.

Embracing the future with AI-Driven Development Teams

It is forecasted that by 2026, agentic AI is to be made an integral part of the software developmental toolkit. They are likely to be on par with tools like Git or Docker in the long run. The time is not far where UK developers stand a chance to see happier days collaborating with AI agents for enhancing workflow efficiency. In this way, one can attain faster deployment cycles and gain a competitive edge in the market. As the UK stands at the forefront of innovations in AI and propelling regulatory momentum, integrating other supporting platforms could be an added advantage.

Wrapping up

Building bots may not necessarily replace developers. Working in collaboration with AI agents can certainly build smarter workflows by accelerating deployment cycles with less time. As a result, this gives ample opportunity for developers to focus on creative problem-solving by delegating mundane tasks to machines. The need of the hour is to build a future with bots than be outdated by those who have already started the race.

EquitiesFirst Could Help Gulf States Build Tomorrow’s Digital Infrastructure Today https://www.newsanyway.com/2025/07/25/equitiesfirst-could-help-gulf-states-build-tomorrows-digital-infrastructure-today/ Fri, 25 Jul 2025 08:15:05 +0000 https://www.newsanyway.com/?p=140641 Artificial intelligence infrastructure is reshaping global economics, and nowhere is this transformation more visible than across the Arabian Peninsula. Gulf states are deploying sovereign wealth and energy advantages to construct computational capabilities that could rival Silicon Valley. For alternative financing providers like EquitiesFirst, this technological revolution creates opportunities to offer supportive capital as traditional banking systems could struggle to serve the entrepreneurs and technology companies driving the change.

What distinguishes the Gulf approach isn’t simply scale, but the coordinated nature of these investments. Unlike the venture capital-driven model of Silicon Valley or the state-directed approach in China, Gulf states are combining government backing with market mechanisms, creating hybrid models that could play a central role in defining the next phase of AI development globally.

Semiconductor Diplomacy and Computational Power

Advanced semiconductors have become instruments of geopolitical influence. One recent case in point: the U.S. has reached a preliminary agreement with the United Arab Emirates allowing annual imports of 500,000 of Nvidia’s most sophisticated AI chips beginning in 2025. This arrangement multiplies available computing power exponentially compared to previous export restrictions.

Saudi Arabia has secured even larger commitments. HUMAIN, the AI arm of its Public Investment Fund, is making a major investment to build AI factories with a projected capacity of up to 500 megawatts powered by several hundred thousand of Nvidia’s GPUs over the next five years. To put this in perspective, 500 megawatts could power a city of 400,000 people. In this case all that power will fuel artificial intelligence operations. Strategic technology financing has become increasingly important as these massive infrastructure projects require flexible capital solutions.

These arrangements indicate broader shifts in technological competition. While Chinese AI development has shown impressive progress, with recent breakthroughs challenging assumptions about computational requirements and algorithmic efficiency, Gulf states are establishing themselves as a distinct third pole in global AI competition. Their advantages lie not in matching Silicon Valley’s innovation culture or China’s manufacturing scale, but in combining abundant energy with patient capital.

Geography as Competitive Advantage

The physical location of AI infrastructure matters. A new UAE-US AI campus will include 5GW of capacity for AI data centers in Abu Dhabi, providing a regional platform from which U.S. hyperscalers will be able to offer latency-friendly services to nearly half of the global population living within 3,200 km (2,000 miles) of the UAE. This positioning could help capture new AI users across Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.

Energy economics amplify these geographic advantages. AI data centers require massive electrical consumption, with large facilities consuming 50-100 megawatts continuously. Current projections suggest data centers could account for 10% of American electricity consumption by 2030, doubling from 4% in 2023. Gulf states possess abundant energy resources without the grid constraints that limit expansion in developed economies. Investment advisory services have recognized the potential in these regional infrastructure developments.

These infrastructure developments stand to generate substantial investments from entrepreneurs and data center operators. But flexible financing solutions are often required to capitalize on growth opportunities without diluting equity positions. Securities-backed lending could meet this need, providing immediate capital financed against long-term equity positions.

Capital Formation in Technology Sectors

Saudi Arabia recorded private-sector investment growth of 57% over two years, with total private investment reaching SAR959 billion riyals ($254 billion) in 2023. Much of this growth concentrates in technology and advanced manufacturing sectors directly related to AI development.

Early participants in AI infrastructure development, data center operations, and technology services often experience rapid equity appreciation. However, these entrepreneurs frequently need additional capital to pursue expansion opportunities, acquire competitors, or develop new product lines without liquidating their successful investments. Global capital solutions have become essential for technology companies looking to scale rapidly in the AI sector.

Traditional banking approaches may prove inadequate for these financing needs. Technology companies often possess valuable intellectual property, software platforms, and client relationships that don’t align with traditional lending criteria.

This financing model addresses these gaps directly. Technology entrepreneurs can access capital using their stock holdings while maintaining long-term equity positions.

From Local Innovation to Regional Dominance

The AI ecosystem across the Gulf has already moved beyond experimentation into commercial deployment. Companies throughout the region are implementing machine learning solutions at enterprise scale. Bayzat, a Dubai-based payroll platform, has deployed automation across HR and insurance operations, while transportation company Careem uses advanced algorithms to optimize ride-hailing services throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

Dubai and Abu Dhabi together host more than 1,200 AI firms. Enterprise confidence in AI technology is similarly high, with 94% of UAE enterprises believing AI will drive long-term growth, and nearly half expecting return on investment within two years.

What makes this ecosystem particularly powerful is its regional expansion potential. Gulf-based AI companies can both serve local markets and become regional champions with international reach. MGX, an Abu Dhabi-based investment firm, plans to funnel US$100 billion into AI and semiconductor deals. Saudi Arabia’s HUMAIN has announced a $10 billion venture fund targeting start-ups across the US, Europe, and parts of Asia. Emirati AI firm G42 is rapidly building out data centers across Africa, positioning UAE and Saudi Arabia-based businesses to enter new markets as essential service and infrastructure partners.

Companies scaling across multiple markets often require significant working capital while maintaining their equity positions for future growth. Alternative capital providers accommodate the complex financing needs of rapidly expanding technology companies operating across diverse regulatory environments.

On the other hand, traditional financial institutions across the Gulf region face significant limitations when serving technology companies. Small and medium enterprises in the region face a $250 billion financing shortfall. Regional banks concentrate their lending portfolios heavily on government entities and established corporations, with technology startups and growing firms receiving disproportionately limited attention.

Future Implications

AI infrastructure development, economic diversification, and wealth creation are converging across the Gulf region. As these economies reduce hydrocarbon dependence while building advanced technology capabilities, demand for sophisticated financing solutions stands to continue expanding.

According to World Bank data, the UAE achieved 3.3% economic growth in 2024, with non-oil sectors expanding 4.1% and demonstrating strength across tourism, real estate, construction, transportation, and manufacturing. Qatar’s economy is projected to reach 4.1% growth in 2025-2026, supported by similar diversification efforts. Technology and AI-related activities drive much of this expansion.

For comparable alternative financing firms, the combination of expanding technology sectors, substantial private wealth creation, and constrained conventional financing options provide ideal conditions for equities-backed financing.

Speakspots Unveils AI Agent to Automate Hotel Guest Communication https://www.newsanyway.com/2025/06/13/speakspots-com-launches-ai-concierge/ Fri, 13 Jun 2025 15:20:29 +0000 https://www.newsanyway.com/?p=140253 Travel tech innovator Speakspots.com has launched a white-label AI agent for hotels, revolutionizing guest communication and unlocking new revenue streams. Combining LLMs, real-time personalization, and WhatsApp integration, the platform offers hotels—especially rural properties—an intelligent, scalable B2B solution. Features include AI-powered restaurant/activity booking via phone, helping overcome language barriers and roaming charges. Following a successful pilot at 5-star ARTIEM Asturias, the tool is now expanding to ARTIEM Carlos in Menorca.

“In rural areas and secondary cities, hotels are still very much seen as the entry-point to a destination – guests look to them for advice and guidance about what to see and do during their stay,” said Andres Martinez Artal, CEO and founder of Speakspots.com. “We’re giving hoteliers the tools they need to seamlessly deliver a 5-star guest experience both in and around the hotel, all while increasing their revenue per guest and championing local businesses and SMEs.”

How It Works

Speakspots.com’s AI agents integrate both internal hotel content (website, apps, documents) and external data (local partner sites, hotel staff knowledge) to provide guests with personalised and curated recommendations—ranging from on-site services to off-property experiences like restaurants and cultural attractions. Guests do not need to install any app–instead the solution works via WhatsApp to reach guests directly, with voice assistant integration planned for the near future. Similarly, the set-up is easy for the hotel, requiring no PMS or CRM integration to get going.

Speakspots.com’s solution also includes a ‘robot making calls’, or an AI-powered reservation agent. Guests can ask the AI agent to make a restaurant or activity booking on their behalf and the AI will make the call, speaking to business owners in their local language, to secure a table reservation, tour or activity booking. In rural areas where many SMEs (small, medium enterprises) have limited digital presence or only speak their own language, this solution helps to overcome two key challenges: language barriers and roaming fees for making calls.

“There’s a paradox in travel right now; digital native travellers want authentic, local experiences, but the small businesses in destinations who are most able to offer that authenticity can’t keep up with fast-moving advances in technology and AI”, explains Andres Martinez Artal, founder and CEO of Speakspots.com. “What we need is a technological bridge, that means SMEs can benefit from GenAI for next to nothing and with very little effort, and digital travellers can find what they’re looking for via their everyday technology. We are building that bridge.”

Results That Matter

Unlike traditional guest messaging tools or PMS/CRM plugins, Speakspots.com’s white label solution focuses on personalization to both improve the guest experience and drive incremental revenue. The pilot programme at ARTIEM Asturias saw measurable increases in guest spending and satisfaction in the first two months—with just 20% of the additional sales generated covering the cost of running the platform.

“We’re not just offering another SaaS solution. We’re offering a smart, revenue-generating concierge that guests access through the technology theyr’e already using every day,” said Martinez Artal. “The solution drives direct, trackable revenue uplift. And it enhances guest loyalty in a way big tech cannot.”

Designed for a Sector That Needs It

Speakspots is targeting high-end hotels, predominantly in rural destinations—often overlooked by mainstream platforms yet deeply dependent on strong guest experience and local integration.

“We’re starting with a niche where the value is obvious and immediate, turning the hotel into the engine of the local community and connecting travellers with the authentic experiences they want, all while dispersing valuable tourism revenue”, continues Martinez Artal. “Down the line, we can see this solution rolling out to other SMEs in hospitality and supporting social sustainability in rural and secondary travel destinations.”

The platform is scalable across regions, languages, and property sizes, but initial growth is focused on Spain and Western Europe. The launch follows Speakspots.com’s rapid B2C growth across Europe, where its traveller itinerary generator continues to grow month-on-month in user numbers and itinerary creation volume.

Why 2025 Is The Year AI Finally Felt Personal https://www.newsanyway.com/2025/04/29/why-2025-is-the-year-ai-finally-felt-personal/ Tue, 29 Apr 2025 11:40:27 +0000 https://www.newsanyway.com/?p=139860 From the moment most of us wake up and ask our phone for the weather, to the way we text, shop, scroll, and even talk to customer service, artificial intelligence has already worked its way into our lives. But something changed this year. It got closer. Softer. Friendlier. Almost… human. The jump from “cool technology” to something that actually feels personal is what made 2025 stand out. AI isn’t just in the background anymore—it’s in your corner.

It’s not a gimmick, and it’s not just for people who code or build robots. It’s for regular folks with regular lives who’ve started noticing their daily routines getting smoother, their options getting smarter, and their technology paying a little more attention.

When Smart Became Intuitive

Up until recently, AI mostly felt like a helpful assistant. You had to ask it for things. It would listen and respond, sure, but it didn’t really know you. That’s changed. The newest generation of artificial intelligence systems can now understand your habits and tone in ways that used to be pure science fiction. They learn what you like, what you don’t, when you’re stressed, when you’re bored, and even what kind of music feels right in the middle of a long Monday.

It’s not just the big things either. Think about how your phone now organizes your photos by event or automatically curates your playlists based on your mood. These tiny touches may not scream “breakthrough,” but they make daily life feel easier and more connected. And when machines start adjusting themselves to you, instead of the other way around, it stops feeling like a cold transaction and starts feeling like a real relationship.

Trust Got A Makeover

A lot of people used to feel uneasy about AI, and understandably so. It was distant. Mysterious. Sometimes it made headlines for things that went wrong. But 2025 brought a noticeable shift. People began seeing the good it was doing firsthand, and that made the difference.

For example, AI started quietly stepping into healthcare conversations. It didn’t replace doctors, but it helped patients understand their own symptoms better, guided them through wellness apps with less confusion, and made access to support a little less intimidating. The tone became softer, more reassuring, less like clicking buttons and more like being heard.

That shift in tone—combined with more transparency about how data is used—made people less guarded. And when AI met them with clarity instead of chaos, the relationship changed. Trust wasn’t just built. It was earned.

Subscribing to reputable tech blogs is a great way to stay updated on the changes happening behind the scenes, because what used to be niche is now shaping the tools we all touch every day. The better we understand the human side of artificial intelligence, the easier it becomes to welcome it in.

A Face, A Voice, A Presence

Another reason AI felt more personal this year: it finally showed its face. Or, to be more accurate, its many faces. In 2025, there’s been an explosion in digital characters—avatars that talk, listen, react, and remember. They don’t look like stock robots either. They look like us. Some are casual and expressive. Some are animated and bright. Some are soft-spoken and calm.

And it’s not just a novelty. These digital voices are helping people learn languages, practice interviews, talk through rough days, or even read bedtime stories when a parent is traveling. AI videos have become a quiet revolution here—short clips where a relatable face talks directly to you, teaching, calming, advising, or just keeping you company. There’s something about being spoken to instead of spoken at that makes the interaction feel alive.

It turns out that when people can see a personality, even a digital one, they feel more at ease. The awkwardness disappears. What’s left is a gentle form of companionship that doesn’t feel artificial at all.

Small Screens, Big Impact

Even though most people interact with AI through their phones or laptops, the effects stretch far beyond those small screens. AI has begun changing how people schedule their time, how they shop, how they deal with stress, and how they learn. For many, the most unexpected part has been how emotionally supportive it can be.

A teenager struggling with school might find encouragement from a custom tutor that doesn’t judge or rush. An older adult who feels lonely might have a daily routine built around a voice that remembers their name and favorite topics. A small business owner might manage their entire operation from a single smart dashboard that adjusts to their workflow without being told.

That kind of support, once considered a luxury, now fits in your back pocket. It’s thoughtful, responsive, and often invisible—but it’s changing lives in ways that feel surprisingly human.

Where We Go From Here

If 2025 was the year artificial intelligence stopped feeling like a machine and started feeling like a friend, it sets the stage for something even more exciting: a future where technology doesn’t just respond to us, it resonates with us.

And maybe that’s the real milestone—AI didn’t just get better this year. It got closer.
